Our colleague networks help us in our aim to create an inclusive working environment and exist to help colleagues reach their full potential. Each network has a different focus and is run by volunteers who feel as passionately about inclusion as we do.
All of our networks are open to everyone and offer a range of opportunities and events, including mentoring, career development, networking and access to role models.
Our Access network:
Our award-winning disability colleague network, Access, works towards connecting, supporting and developing colleagues with disabilities, including mental health and long term health conditions across the Group.
Accessibility advocates across the business host disability awareness sessions, signpost colleagues to additional sources of support and promote wider inclusion activities.
Our Rainbow network:
Our LGBT+ colleague network, Rainbow, plays a pivotal role in our approach, and with over 5,000 members and supporters, is one of the largest networks of its kind in the UK. Rainbow is committed to connecting, developing and supporting our LGBT+ colleagues across the Group.
Over the past 10 years, Rainbow has supported five LGBT+ charities with volunteering and fundraising – Mermaids, MindOut, Albert Kennedy Trust, Opening Doors London and Waverley Care.
Our REACH network:
Our REACH network (Race, Ethnicity and Cultural Heritage) connects, supports and develops colleagues from a range of ethnic and cultural backgrounds, with membership open to all colleagues. It currently has over 4,000 members and 700 advocates.
The network are passionate about supporting communities. One way in which this is achieved is through our RISE programme, which inspires students from underrepresented and disadvantaged backgrounds to explore opportunities in banking.
Our Breakthrough network:
Our women’s employee network ‘Breakthrough’ is one of the largest of its kind in the UK with 10,000 members and 4,000 mentors.
Breakthrough is one of the many ways we are supporting colleagues with fulfilling their career potential at Lloyds Banking Group.
