As the country continues its economic recovery, our work has really been thrown into the spotlight. We help UK-based FTSE 100 companies and global financial institutions with a strong UK connection to invest locally and trade globally. We help clients to better manage their risks, become more sustainable, and design industry-leading products and services, such as debt capital and rates solutions to meet their changing needs.
Right now, we're looking for even more talented people to join the team and help us prepare for whatever the future brings. And the good news is, you don't need a banking or finance-related degree. As long as you have what it takes to thrive in our fast-paced, yet inclusive and diverse environment, we want to hear from you.
Keen to make a difference to large global corporations? Curious about what drives the economy? Passionate about developing technical skills and product knowledge? If this sounds like you, then join us in supporting a more sustainable and inclusive society.
As a graduate on the Lloyds Bank Corporate Banking and Markets Graduate scheme, you’ll learn from our world-class teams and support some of the largest and most high-profile clients our Group works with. Over two years, we will give you the multi-faceted knowledge you need to understand financial markets and succeed in corporate and financial institutional banking. From day one, your team will value your perspective, give you real responsibility, and rely on your contribution. There will be unlimited opportunities to be innovative, think critically and add real value to our business.
Over the course of four placements, you’ll work in a variety of teams to support our clients with their debt financing, risk management, securitisation, foreign exchange and transaction banking needs. Your first three placements will enable you to gain experience in client facing, product specialist and risk roles, followed by the opportunity to choose your specialism in a range of relationship, market or product roles during your final rotation. Once you’ve completed the scheme, you’ll have the platform to take your Lloyds Banking Group career in a variety of directions.
You’ll receive a range of training throughout the scheme, including an invitation to an intensive training programme before you begin. This will give you the foundations you need to succeed, allow you to meet fellow graduates and mentors, and get you off to a strong start.
Throughout the scheme, you’ll see how we’re building digital innovation and sustainability into everything we do. You'll work towards a professional qualification. You’ll also grow an encouraging network of peers and colleagues, who are as passionate about learning as you are. Above all, you’ll get a good idea of where you’d like to specialise and further develop your career.
