On this two-year, three-rotation programme, you’ll find that every day is different. You’ll get a well-rounded insight into how an organisation of our size operates across the various functions, as you discover how diverse the individual business areas that make up Group Operations are. From day to day, you’ll take part in analysing processes, managing people and projects, and providing internal consultancy to drive improvements for our customers. You could even be involved in cyber security, negotiating new commercial contracts, managing the performance and development of a customer-facing team, or helping support trading and client facing activities.

Whichever roles you do, we’ll put your development at the heart of your placement. On our award winning development journey, you’ll have the support of mentors and experienced line managers, who’ll help you discover how your strengths can propel you to become an effective leader of the future. What’s more, all of our graduates will have the opportunity to complete a professional qualification, such as Chartered Banker.

During your 10-week internship, you’ll have the chance to gain first-hand experience of project or business support roles – from cyber security, to negotiating contracts or projects that drive improvements for our customers. And, you’ll have access to a range of learning resources, to help you develop your professional skills. Working alongside graduates in their business placements, you’ll have their full support, and that of your managers and senior leaders.
