Ready to start building your future?
If you share our vision, you’re always looking to learn new things and you’re keen to push us forward, we want to hear from you.
Our biggest tip to help you through the process? Just be yourself. We’re not interested in perfectly performed answers. We want to hear about what makes you tick and why you believe the scheme you’ve chosen is the one for you.
Still not quite sure? Compare our programmes to help you decide.

Are you eligible and when’s the closing date?

We want to hear from people of all backgrounds and have created a recruitment process that gives everyone the chance to shine. We don't ask for a minimum degree achievement however, always review the application process as there may be some specific skills that form part of the assessment centre.
Some schemes may close early due to high volumes of applications. This could be before the published closing date, so it’s best to apply as soon as you can. For us to consider your application, you need to have completed both your application form and online assessment before the closing date.

If you need extra support...
Just let us know! We value diversity, equity and inclusion. We recruit people based on their skills and what they can bring to our Group, rather than their experience.
We fully support the career development of people with neurodiverse conditions, including, but not limited to, Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia, Dyscalculia, and Dyspraxia. On the application form, you can disclose if you have a neurodiverse condition. If you select 'yes,' our team will contact you to discuss your needs. Please wait to complete the online assessment until we've talked about any reasonable adjustments for the process.

If you're successful at the Online Assessment stage, you'll be invited to complete the Job Insight Assessment. This stage will give you an insight into the role you are applying to, and enable you to experience some of the activities you may be required to undertake if successful in joining Lloyds Banking Group.
You'll be presented with multiple scenarios with questions to explore how you would respond to each. You'll also be presented with data for you to analyse and interpret.

These questions will be time-limited or time-recorded.
If you need extra support
We’re here to help. If you have a disability, long-term health or neuro-diverse condition, this may have an impact on your ability to complete the assessment. Just let us know if you need extra support and we’ll be happy to discuss the adjustments we can make, such as giving you additional time or completing our alterative assessments. You’ll also have the opportunity to request additional time or other adjustments on your application form.
Next steps
If you’re successful, we’ll get be in touch to invite you to the final stage of the process and ask you to book onto one of our assessment centres. The Assessment Centre will be conducted either virtually or in person*, depending on the Programme you have applied for. Please note that some elements will be timed.
*If you are invited to an Assessment Centre, we’ll confirm whether it will be in person or virtual. Reasonable travel expenses will be covered for in-person events.
The final stage of the application process is the assessment centre. To prepare for this, you’ll need to complete some pre-work, and we’ll provide full details well in advance.
On the day, we’ll assess you through a series of different exercises, including a one-to-one interview, a group exercise and some individual assessments which will relate to the pre-work you’ve completed.
We want you to be at your best. The goal is for you to show us your strengths as well as your areas for development. But the day isn’t just about us assessing you – you’ll get to learn more about us too, about our values and our culture. The assessors you’ll meet are colleagues at Lloyds Banking Group and you’ll also get to talk with some of our current graduates who can tell you about their own journey and answer your questions.

Contact us and we can discuss giving you access to a laptop within one of our offices. Or perhaps another solution. If you do travel to one of our offices, we can support you with travel expenses too.
How to prepare
We’ll provide clear instructions for the pre-work you’ll be required to complete, and we recommend you spend between two-three hours going through it.
