A business as large and complex as Lloyds Banking Group needs a team of clever minds to translate the finer details of business transactions into sound business solutions. Luckily, we have a diverse in-house Legal team that enjoy solving complex problems and influencing people to deliver real change.

This programme is for graduates seeking to join the Law Society or Law Society of Scotland as qualified Solicitors, and who have an interest in Financial Services law and regulation. You must have gained or be expecting to gain the LPC or DPLP. We accept candidates with either qualification and can consider applications from people who are currently working towards their LPC or DPLP (as long as you will gain the qualification in time for the start date). We’ll help you discover where your passion for law can take you at Lloyds Banking Group.

As a trainee solicitor on our Lloyds Banking Group Graduate Leadership Programme, you’ll build on what you’ve learnt so far, and gain the key skills required to practice as a solicitor. You’ll also learn what it means to be a sound business partner, and how to deliver solutions that put our customers first. Initially, you’ll spend time getting to know various areas of financial services law and regulation through work that gradually increases in complexity as you develop and the programme continues. You’ll also receive mentoring from a senior leader as well as formal training to help you to reach your potential.

Locations: All of our graduate programmes are rotational and our Legal roles are in Bristol, Edinburgh, Leeds/Halifax and London.

Internships are not currently available in Legal.
