Over two years, your three placements will be driven by your interests and career aspirations. Lasting eight months each, they could include the following day-to-day activities:

Business Analysis

Liaising between the Technology teams and Retail and Commercial businesses, you’ll define and communicate internal customer requirements so the Technology teams can create the best IT solutions. You’ll leave this rotation with excellent stakeholder and business management skills, plus a clear understanding of what banking customers want.

Service Delivery & Infrastructure

This is all about keeping our systems running, and digitising the bank. Your projects could deal with everything from ATMs to payment systems to online mortgage applications – offering you the potential to transform thousands of peoples’ working lives.

Project Management

Whatever the project, you’ll ensure that the tasks, people, budgets and timelines are managed to produce a quality result. Crucially, you’ll build your project management skills and discover how effective project management is key to ensuring the needs of both our customers and our business are met.

Application Development Management

While our expert programming teams are coding the systems, you’ll be responsible for making sure they deliver effectively against budget and requirements. This is an opportunity to learn about different applications and systems that drive an organisation as large as ours, while developing transferable management skills.

We make a long-term commitment to our graduates because we want you to discover what matters most to you, develop new interests, grow and be a part of our future. To help you in your goals, we’ll provide mentoring, masterclasses and practical on the job learning so you can build the skills you need for your future career.
