You’ll work on everything from transformational change initiatives to create a more digital-focused bank, to development projects with our product teams to improve how we interact with our customers. All this while building the skills to lead our organisation – both now and in the future.
About the programme
During three eight-month placements across two years in different locations around the UK, you’ll work in a variety of areas to develop your strengths. From project management to cyber security, this programme offers a broad range of experience to help you build your career in almost any division within the Group.
Day to day you’ll be:
- Leading the re-design of our products to better serve the needs of our customers
- Inspiring your team to make a difference for themselves and their customers
- Deploying new technology that will make banking easier for customers
- Embracing new technologies and different ways of working in order to deliver excellence for our customers
- Researching insights and trends to identifying new opportunities and markets
- Interacting with customers and building your knowledge of the products we offer

People do their best work when they feel happy and valued; that’s why you’ll receive the tools you need to develop the career you want – from mentoring to TED-style talks. We’ll support you to complete a professional qualification and you’ll also have the chance to lead on UK community volunteering initiatives.

But first you’ll need
A 2:2 degree or above in any discipline from any university. The variety and experiences of our colleagues makes our workplace unique, so we encourage people from every kind of background to apply.
