Are you analytically minded and able to understand everything from statistics to large volumes of data? Are you looking to support UK businesses by delivering innovative solutions? Can you motivate people to collaborate and deliver? Are you interested in how technology is changing the way services and products are created? If the answer is yes, then you should join our Commercial Banking Client Solutions teams. Not only will you be designing products that help our clients to attract and retain global investment, you’ll also be boosting the digital skills of over 50,000 small business and charities across Britain.

About the programme
During four six-month placements over two years in London, and potentially internationally, you’ll work in a variety of areas to develop your strengths. Over this time, you will make an impact through your work and delivering nationwide projects.
Day to day you could be:
- Working in virtual teams to deliver new banking solutions
- Researching the market to discover regulatory and sector changes
- Championing innovation, pioneering new ideas and taking them to market at speed
- Building relationships with clients and colleagues
- Managing our clients’ financial needs through loan and bond financing
- Managing markets’ risks to our clients, and also to our business through trading activities
- Engaging with clients to deliver risk management solutions through sales projects

People do their best work when they feel happy and valued; that’s why you’ll receive the tools you need to develop the career you want – from mentoring to delivering TED-style talks. You’ll be assigned a graduate coach who will be there to provide support throughout the programme and will work with you – alongside your line managers – to create a personal development plan. They will also be there to support you with your rotations, ensuring you get the best development throughout. We’ll support you to complete a professional qualification – such as ACT, CFA, CISI or CIMA – and you’ll also have the chance to lead on UK community volunteering initiatives.

But first you’ll need
A 2:2 degree or above in any discipline from any university. The variety and experiences of our colleagues makes our workplace unique, so we encourage people from every kind of background to apply.
