Are you analytically minded and able to help us advise our clients on everything from reviewing their financial accounts to adapting to changes in their external environment? Want to work on initiatives that deliver impactful outcomes for our clients, helping them to trade better and achieve more? Are you at your best when you’re working as part of an ambitious team, trying to find the best solution to a challenging problem? If the answer is yes, you’ll be a great fit for our Commercial Banking: Client Relationship Management teams. You’ll be working with clients ranging from entrepreneurial start-ups to international organisations, helping them to succeed and grow.
About the programme
During four six-month placements over two years, you’ll work in a variety of areas to develop your strengths. In this time, you’ll make an impact supporting our clients across the UK and beyond.
Day to day you could be:
- Building strong clients relationships
- Supporting business development projects
- Identifying business solutions for our clients’ needs
- Forming collaborative working partnerships with colleagues across the Group
- Delivering financial, marketing and sector research to help us deliver creative solutions for our clients
And it’s built around you
People do their best work when they feel happy and valued; that’s why you’ll receive the tools you need to develop the career you want – from mentoring to delivering TED-style talks. You’ll be assigned a graduate coach who will be there to provide support throughout the programme and will work with you – alongside your line managers – to create a personal development plan. They will also be there to support you with your rotations ensuring you get the best development throughout. We’ll support you to complete a professional qualification – such as ACT, CFA, CISI or CIMA – and you’ll also have the chance to lead on UK community volunteering initiatives.

But first you’ll need
A 2:2 degree or above in any discipline from any university. The variety and experiences of our colleagues makes our workplace unique, so we encourage people from every kind of background to apply.
