Join this two-year rotational programme, and over four, six-month placements you’ll develop your knowledge and gain experience in different UK cities, as part of diverse Commercial Banking teams. It’s a challenging and ever-changing business environment, so you’ll enjoy a wealth of experience.
Every day will be an opportunity to develop your strengths in stakeholder management, analytics and presentation skills. You could be delivering change projects, understanding our response to cyber threats, assessing and mitigating risks or working closely with our relationship management teams. You could also contribute to the performance management of the Commercial Bank.
Throughout the programme, you’ll be supported by your manager who will work with you to understand your strengths and career ambitions and help you plan your future career path. You’ll achieve an industry recognised qualification such as Chartered Banker, APMP or Six Sigma, and be privy to tailored training and events on everything from leadership skills to product innovation. Mentoring and networking with senior leaders will help you to grow as a professional, too.
During your 10-week internship, you’ll have the opportunity to get first-hand experience of project or business support roles in Risk, Change, Data Services, Client First & Conduct, Client Services, and Client Asset Management. And, you’ll have every opportunity to explore your interests and develop your professional skills, too.
Along with access to a range of learning resources, you’ll have support from your managers and senior leaders to make sure you really get the best out of the programme. Plus, you’ll be working alongside graduates in their business placements, so you’ll gain a broad insight into how to best support a business. Above all, we’ll make sure you have an experience that will challenge, stretch and develop your skills, and inspire you to pursue your passions, once you graduate.
